2017 Tumbleweed Tree Lighting and Parade of Lights

Nothing brings the Chandler community together like the annual Tumbleweed Tree Lighting and Parade of Lights. This year, attendees enjoyed stage performances, Santa's House and Workshop, vendors, pony rides and, of course, the time-honored parade and tree lighting ceremony. 
 

Second Annual Pictures with Santa

The Amy Nelson Team of Keller Williams East Valley, and Your Loan Gal, Kari Zurn with RedStone Mortgage, were back with their annual free Pictures with Santa event in Downtown Ocotillo. Dozens of families came out to see Santa, decorate cookies and donate to the Toys for Tots Drive.

Ocotillo Friends Wrap Party

Ocotillo Friends and Ocotillo Empty Nesters came together for the Second Annual Adopt-a-Family Wrap Party, hosted by d’Vine Gourmet. Members of the community gathered to wrap presents for 17 families in the Chandler Unified School District. 

Aquila Dental Cares Event

Aquila Dental is proud to announce they donated $31,200 in services during their recent event, Aquila Dental Cares. The practice saw 78 patients in the Chandler community and performed 62 extractions, 19 fillings and had 24 hygiene appointments.
 

CFHM Annual Toy Drive

The Chandler Fire, Health & Medical (CFHM) Department held its annual toy drive on Dec. 9 at Chandler Fashion Center, where they collected items for children who might otherwise go without. The highlight was the Holiday Toy Ride, where anyone who donated got to ride in a fire engine. 
 

Chandler Chuck Wagon Cook-Off

More than 5,000 people enjoyed good food, great weather and a little history at the Eighth Annual Chandler Chuck Wagon Cook-Off, held at Tumbleweed Ranch on Nov. 10 and 11. Although there was live music, interactive exhibits and cooking demonstrations, it was the 1880s chuck wagons that took center stage. 

Taste of Ocotillo 

Downtown Ocotillo celebrated the grand opening of Realty Executives and the inaugural Taste of Ocotillo event on Nov. 18. Event highlights included live music, wine tastings and featured cuisine from Downtown Ocotillo restaurants. 

Fit Society Crib Crawl

Community is one of the core values at Fit Society. On Nov. 18, 130 members attended the Second Annual Crib Crawl, hosted by Fit Society members, where they biked from house to house on a beautiful Arizona day partaking in adult beverages along the way.
