Sibley’s West Wins Prize Package

Local Chandler small business Sibley’s West won a grand prize package in the Small Business Boost contest hosted by Cox Business, 3TV and the Arizona Small Business Association (ASBA). Sibley’s West was among the top 12 businesses who secured the most online votes from the public and advanced to the final round, where the company submitted the most compelling essay and video to a panel of judges. The business won a $5,000 cash prize from Cox Business, a $12,500 advertising schedule with 3TV, and a year membership to ASBA.

Sibley’s West sells unique gift items from local artists and small businesses across Arizona, including a variety of items such as candles from Prescott, pottery from Payson, kachinas from a Hopi artist, Cerreta’s chocolates from Glendale, and much more. The funds from the contest will enable Sibley’s West to continue encouraging artists to showcase their work, and possibly open additional stores in Arizona.

Desert Eyesthetics Offers New Service

The Best Anti-Aging Laser Treatment (NewBeauty magazine) is now being offered at Desert Eyesthetics.

The Sciton Halo is the world’s first hybrid fractional laser. It simultaneously delivers non-ablative and ablative wavelengths in a single pass over the skin. It delivers very little down time. Band Light (BBL) therapy consists of a series of treatments in which a broad spectrum of light is transmitted through a small hand piece placed over the skin, passing through the top layer of skin and penetrating to the deeper layer where blood vessels, pigment cells and collagen reside. Because the epidermis is unharmed, the severe redness and peeling associated with traditional laser skin resurfacing is avoided. The gentle, non-ablative treatments can be used to treat the face, chest, neck and hands—virtually anywhere that sun damage shows. BBL is also used for hair reduction and acne treatments.
