The May Women’s Issue is always one of my favorites. For the third year we are featuring some amazing Chandler women who were all nominated by members of our community—parents, spouses, kids, friends, neighbors, co-workers, and even strangers. Being introduced to these amazing women on a personal level brings so much joy to my team, but it is also humbling.  Some stories made us laugh and others brought a tear to our eyes. And it’s a very emotional selection journey because it is nearly impossible to narrow down the list as everyone is certainly inspiring and worthy.

This year we have cancer survivors, educators, business owners, an author and a civil servant, just to name a few. The one thing they all have in common is that they strive to be the best they can possibly be with a true giving spirit they put into practice every single day.

We also share stories of women entrepreneurs, a woman who started a non-profit in honor of her son, and so much more.

It is the mission of our magazine to bring the “good news” of our community to our readers.  Some of these women you may know, some you may have heard of, some you may be meeting for the first time. These women are all truly good news for Chandler!
