Spring has finally arrived, and all the tell-tale signs of it are clear: days are getting longer, the weather is getting warmer, flowers are starting to pop-up along the roadside and the promise of summer lingers in the air. For many, spring is a time of growth, renewal and new beginnings with the coming of a new, brighter season. Yet spring is also a time for fond farewells too, as we pack up our favorite winter sweaters and blankets and recall all the warm, cherished memories of the holidays spent with friends and family behind us.
This sentiment rings especially true to me this spring, as I will be saying a most fond farewell as the Editor of Chandler Lifestyle Magazine. It has truly been such a pleasure and humbling experience being the Editor of this magazine and having the opportunity to serve my community through the stories that we bring forth every month. Our motto here at Lifestyle Publications has always been “Inspired by Community,” and it is you, our readers and residents, that have truly inspired me during my time here. I feel so fortunate to have been able to meet with so many incredible individuals, businesses and philanthropic organizations who have opened both their hearts and homes to share their passions and give me a glimpse as to why they are so devoted to each of their individual causes—it has been a truly life-changing experience.
Along with my talented group of writers and wonderful publisher, I feel honored to have gotten to work with all of you too, whether it was meeting individually, via email or hearing feedback on the magazine. But, just as the changing of the seasons is inevitable, I too must move forward with the next step in my journey and wish all of you a bright and blessed future.
Also, in the spirit of spring and new beginnings, I want to share with you some colorful stories— like planting tips and advice from Greenhouse Gardens, Farm-to-Table dining experiences at the Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa, fabulous DIY bouquets from Cactus Flower Florists, and the haute spring styles showcased in a wonderful fashion shoot at Desert Botanical Garden—to kick-off what is sure to be a bright season full of warmth and enjoyment.
All my best,
