A desert oasis in Chandler 1

The two newest home models in Echelon Ocotillo in south Chandler offer home buyers what most communities in the Phoenix area can’t: lake views.

“Ocotillo is really the premier master plan in southwest Chandler. It’s arguably the premiere master plan in all of Chandler,” says Reed Porter, division president in the Phoenix area for CalAtlantic Homes, the fourth largest home builder in the country. “It’s a combination of golf and homes and lots of water, which obviously is a very attractive feature in the hot desert in the summer.”

And the amenities begin at the community’s entrance, which features a gate that is flanked by two waterfalls.

“You feel like you’re arriving at the Ritz or Four Seasons. It’s a very dramatic sense of arrival. It’s different from the rest of Ocotillo, in the fact that it’s gated,” says Porter. “It’s a nice way to leave your community and feel like you’ve got some sense of security.”

In addition to the stunning entryway, Ocotillo’s property-wide features include the aforementioned lake that includes a boat dock, a resort-like pool, a pool house and a few parks too.

The Salerno and Avellino communities are the newest models within the Ocotillo neighborhood. Both models offer one and two-story entries that feature eye-catching staircases. One highlight of the master bathrooms is the walk-in, glass-enclosed showers.
Open kitchens are outfitted with granite or solid stone countertops, oversized islands and the latest finishes on flooring, countertops, and backsplashes.

Salerno homes start at $388,900. The Salerno models range in size from 2,414 to 2,967 square feet with two-story home designs featuring three to five bedrooms, three bathrooms, two garages and two stories.

Single family homes in Avellino start at $482,900. Avellino offers three two-story home designs ranging from 3,235 to 3,757 square feet. These models feature three to five bedrooms, three and a half to four and a half baths and spacious great rooms, amenity-filled kitchens and outdoor living spaces that seamlessly blend in with the indoors.

Residents won’t have to venture too far from their community to take advantage of what Chandler has to offer. The community is right across the street from the Ocotillo Village Health Club & Spa that features traditional gym perks like exercise equipment including cardio machines and free weights, but also includes restaurants, spa and salon services and a tennis court. The area is also surrounded by some of Metro Phoenix’s top golf courses. Chandler schools are top rated. Residents are a five-minute drive from Chandler Fashion Center, one of Metro Phoenix’s premier high-end malls. Downtown Ocotillo, teaming with restaurants and a salon, is mere minutes away. Downtown Chandler’s many restaurants and noteworthy SanTan Brewing Company is about a 10-minute drive.

“It’s really just a combination of this location, just all new, innovative home designs that I think make it a winning combination for home shoppers. Especially when you walk into the homes. That great center floor plan that flows and creates that center of connectivity throughout the home. Those spa-like master suites. It’s on par with five-star resorts,” says Danielle Tocco, national communications director for CalAtlantic Group. “It’s really just a great location and beautiful home design.”
